Planning a new kitchen is one of the most exciting home improvements you can make, but it can also feel like a big decision. There are layouts to think about, finishes to choose, appliances to place and practical details that all need to work together. A beautiful kitchen should not only look the part, but also support the way you cook, relax, entertain and spend time at home.
At Hasco Kitchens, the design process is built around making that journey feel clear, personal and enjoyable. Whether you already have a strong idea of the kitchen you want, or you are starting with a blank page, the aim is to guide you carefully from those first thoughts through to a finished design that feels right for your home.
It usually begins with a personal consultation. This is a chance to talk through your space, your style and the way you use your kitchen day to day. Some customers are looking for more storage, others want a more social layout, better appliance placement or a completely new look. Measurements can be taken during a home survey, or we can work from scaled drawings if you already have them. A visit to the design studio is also recommended, as it gives you the chance to explore kitchen ranges, finishes, colours and options before the design work begins.
Once your ideas and requirements are understood, the design stage can begin. This is where the layout starts to take shape, with every detail carefully considered to make the most of your space. Storage, appliances, worktops, colours, finishes and overall style all play an important part in creating a kitchen that feels both practical and beautiful. From timeless Sheraton kitchens to sleek Novus designs, Hasco Kitchens offers a carefully selected range of affordable luxury options, helping you find a look that suits your home without making the process feel overwhelming.
When the design is ready, you’ll be invited back to the studio to view it on the CAD system. This is often one of the most enjoyable parts of the process, as it helps you visualise how the finished kitchen could look in your own home. During this appointment, the layout can be reviewed, product choices can be explored and any refinements can be made before your kitchen estimate is provided.
Once you are happy with the design, your kitchen order can be placed. A 50% deposit is required to begin production, and the delivery date will be scheduled around your project timeline. You can choose to use one of Hasco Kitchens’ recommended fitting teams or work with your own installer, with the remaining balance due one week before delivery.
The real value of a good kitchen design process is that it removes uncertainty. Instead of making decisions alone, you have guidance, experience and honest advice at each stage. With more than 15 years of industry experience behind Hasco Kitchens, founder Scott Haynes has built the studio around thoughtful design, personal service and kitchens that balance style, function and affordability.
