This beautiful kitchen project in Milford on Sea was a real pleasure to be part of. Supplied for a stunning home on Knowland Drive, the kitchen formed part of a complete bungalow remodel that transformed the property into a modern, light-filled home. With a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and living area at the centre of the new layout, the finished space now feels practical, elegant and perfectly suited to modern family life.
Working once again alongside Bailey Building Projects, we collaborated closely with their clients throughout the project. From the beginning, they had a clear vision for the space they wanted to create. They were looking for a kitchen that would feel contemporary and impressive, but also warm, welcoming and easy to live with every day. It was a pleasure to help bring those ideas together through careful planning, considered finishes and a layout designed around how the home would be used.
At the heart of the design are our Woodgrain Dark Oak and Pure Limestone finishes from the Novus Collection. This combination works beautifully, bringing together the richness and texture of dark oak with the softness of limestone tones. The result is a sophisticated balance of warmth and calm, giving the kitchen a contemporary feel without making the space feel cold or clinical.
To complete the look, the kitchen features luxurious 20mm Calacatta Luna Polished Quartz worktops by Portman Stone. The elegant veining adds a touch of luxury and provides a striking contrast against the cabinetry, while still feeling timeless and understated. A bronze mirror splashback by Southern Counties Glass adds another layer of sophistication, reflecting light throughout the space and helping to tie the different finishes together.
Beautiful design was only one part of the brief. This kitchen also needed to be highly functional and capable of meeting the demands of everyday family life. The space is fitted with premium Bosch Series 8 appliances, including combination microwaves, single ovens, an induction hob and side-by-side larder fridge and freezer. Each appliance has been carefully integrated into the overall design, providing excellent performance and convenience while maintaining the clean, streamlined look of the kitchen.
Every element of this Milford on Sea kitchen has been chosen to work together, from the textured cabinetry and polished quartz worktops to the warm bronze mirror and premium appliances. The finished result is a cohesive, sophisticated and highly practical kitchen that feels designed to impress, but also made for living in.
We’re incredibly proud of how this project came together and loved working with Bailey Building Projects and their clients to create such a beautiful open-plan kitchen space.
